Bricks - Indian Slavery
Imagine Dante's inferno

• bricks on head
• exceeded 100 degrees weather wise

• 16-17 hour shifts

Fishing - Ghana

• slavery hidden in plain sight
• children out on the boat (looks like a family if you don't know what you're looking for)
• skin illnesses because of the water
• loves children (nimble fingers)
• don't know how to swim

Stone - Himalayas

• Generational slavery
• Debt ($18)
• Interest grows and now they're stuck
• Hold stones on their backs
• children would hang stones on their backs and travel down thin paths on the mountain
• Viable way for freedom

• Usually held under threat of violence

Gold 

• 72 hr at time

Textiles

[Career Services] Resume Workshop

Overall, this was a review over the setup of a resume. It wasn't really a workshop workshop as some people didn't initially have a resume coming in.

It also placed the importance on a profile line (different from an objective line). Even when one does not use the profile line, it helps determine what should and should not go in a resume (keeping your "brand image"). Although one person may like to see a profile line, it varies from employer to employer.
